My father was born in 1945.

The first wireless transmitter was established in Iran in 1926. Radio Tehran was inaugurated in 1940. In 1957, National Iran Radio was launched.

Radio in Iran in those days was primarily associated with music. And, I know music was a fun part of my father's youth. Music and all the great Hollywood classics: Westerns, Marlon Brando, Alain Delon, ...

Here is some of the Persian music, I guess he listened to and enjoyed.
